it was back in late november, early december of 02 that we were going to make a trade for wheels. I had the racing hart s7 ( graphite color ) 17x7 with brand new tires, this cost me about 1400 when i bought it. at the time i just wanted some 16s cause i was just sick of the 17s being to heavy and all so the deal we made was he would give me his rota slipstreams in black and some cash if i sent my wheels. well, i sent my wheels with GREAT shipping and it cost me exactly 245.55 to ship them to him. he got the wheels but i ran into a problem saying i didnt want those anymore and just wanted 700 instead which HE WAS FINE WITH. He said it would take a little while to get the money but assured me i would get it . He told me had no job and owed people money and now he has a job and has my money but still hasnt sent it . anways. QUICKTEG is a scammer and im pissed off and out of 700 dollars. dont deal with him

 

if you have good records of all your transactions and talks it may be time to try and nail him for mail fraud. if you have his contact information (i assume you do since u shipped him stuff) you may wanna send a detailed letter about it being his last warning. And if he still refuses don't flinch to get authorities involved, as long as you keep it out of court it will be worth it $$$ wise.

 

Damn $245 for shipping what a rip off. I would have looked to do a local sale first, but i know that can be tough sometimes. At first you guys were going to trade + cash but then it became a straight sale, so basically you sent the merchandise without payment. Just take this as a lesson to not trust poeple with your stuff, unfortunately you were dealign with a scammer. Good luck to you

 

$245 must have included shipping. if you had $1000+ worth to be shipped, insurance is recommended.

you can visit a small claims court. although, since he never paid you...that is like theft. and since it is more than $500 bucks, that is a felony. states very. but, yes it is also a case of mail fraud. another felony.

 

well, i see him online a few times, he said that he is going to get my money by a certain date and this has happened a number of times. He is a compulsive liar and yes i paid 245 to ship the wheels to him and i never even got paid for the wheels on top of that. so thats 245 im out and wheels with tires.
