Question About AXLES and SPLINES (inquiring for friend)

my firend is changing the cv's on his honda civic, would anyone know which axle or what the splines are on the end for the replacements?

its a civic dx auto.

any constructive help would be greatly appreciated

this is for '89 dx sedan, automagical, possibly needing new cv's due to lash and clicks...

DX's had the axles with 26 outer splines, if that is what you are asking. Only the STD and HF had 23 spines.
