installed the cams and did a valve adj. and the engine is making a ticking sound. i wend back in a double checked the valve adj. i did and everything was to spec. the ticking sounds like its coming from the end of the valvecover right before the camgears. any help would be great thanks

Mine had a ticking sound when I put in a new cam gear. Looks like the bolts in the cam gear was hitting the plastic cover my friend said it will disappear when the part it was hitting thins out.
