Default finished my turbo...lemme know what yall think of it.

thought id post up some pics of my custom kit i just finished and got running correctly tonight. took me a year and a half to afford/build (im a college student) so here it is. the motor is the origional motor in the car...1994 del sol vtec with 40k on the odometer.

o2 bung...hey im new to welding so dont give me too much hell for it

nice, what's your turbo set-up? i like where you put your A/F guage at, but i would have replaced the clock with one of those guages though...oh well

edit: damn, '94 with only 41,xxx miles???

thanks for the replies guys. i would have done the guage in the clock location but i wanted to get it all in asap...i didnt have my car for 3 months due to hail damage getting repaired along with a blown tranny so this was about how much i could take of down time. i will be changing to the greddy boost gauge...that or hks soon so that it reads more accurately thats when ill put it in the clock location. well have vids up soon...i hope pending on when i get time to change my axle and ball joints.

edit: and you are correct...only the origional 41k on the whole car/motor.

runnin 6.75lbs for now the turbo is a 60-1 with diff housings (clean ones)

good job john madden way to state the obvious. was it the pics or the title that gave it away

dan: i had to unroute it for the time being im waiting on a wastegate elbow so that i can run it out the side of the bumper.

runs pretty damn well actually. i bog at high rpm but im assuming thats due to the gapping of my plugs and some fuel pressure issues. im going to mess with it tomorrow then on friday install some new axles and ball joints. up until it bogs its great...damn thing pulls very nice and i havent even hit redline yet!
