yes, 7psi, $45, damon@importparts.com (before he was with DSM guys).

it sounds fine, its effective. does its job just fine. i am not a big fan of making my car make noise but it does sound cool i sheepishly admit. mine came with a flange to weld to my charge pipe also, which is a huge plus.

I ran a 1st gen uncrushed for 3 years @ 10-11psi. No problems at all. I personaly think it is one of the best sounding BOV's too. I paid $20 for is in 1998.

agreed. also, the stock 4g63 boosts more than 11psi and hold fine. my bov had a lot of miles on it, kinda cruddy. i cleaned it up with a rag and wd40.

I just ordered one tonight for 35 bucks shipped to my door. Go to http://www.dsmtuner.com for great deals. I have another guy lined up who will ship for 35 bucks to your door. I just picked the one seller over the other b/c i was buying some other stuff from him also. But yeah, dsmtuner.com is the place for dsm parts. dsmtrader.com sucks in my opinion, they want too much for their stuff

The only thing is how do i mount it to my charge pipe. If you can i'd get the flange that comes with it but i didn't get it with mine, sniffle sniffle....o well. What did you fellas use to weld it to the charge pipe, did you make your own flange?

9 PSI on mine, I've ran it everywhere from 7 - 9 PSI, absolutly sounds great. Way better sounding than Blitz, not quite as an HKS. But it has a loud CLEAN sound. It is a great BOV for the price.

1G BOV's can hold like 15 psi. I picked mine up from a local junkyard for 25 bucks which included the IC pipe it was mounted on so I could use the flange.

It will easily hold 20psi, my friends does. So if it doesnt its worn out.

get a turbo mr2 one, i was oblivious to this fact, but they work similarly to the hks ssq, putting pressure on both sides of the valve, which means a higher leak point. most mr2 people keep the stock ones, but when they are for sale, they run about the same as the dsm ones.

Unless you can elaborate, this sounds exactly like every other BOV in the world. (pressure on both sides of the valve.)

pre-crushed the 1g dsm BOV can hold up to 18 psi..

crushed it can hold up to 26 psi....Do not crush it unless ur boosting hihger than 18psi... because if u crush it, that causes ur **** to surge at low boost (say under 10-12psi) which is not good for your turbo...

How do you hook up the 1G DSM BOV though. do you need to connect either of the two pipes on it to anything like a vaccum line or something? I know the DSM ppl recirculate the air by hooking up a rubber hose somehow but i want mine to be open atmostphere

I love mine, to me it sounds just right, not crazy loud, not too quiet.
Uncrushed I have seen them hold up 20psi and a little more if they are crushed so they are definatley functional.
