my problem is that i am only 155 lbs and i was wondering if you guys thought i could handle a bike. i am not weak or anything for my size, but bikes usually wiegh anywhere between 3-450 lbs. i think i could probably handle a 600cc bike, but which of all of them is the lightest? hit me up

 

I weigh 135 pounds and I throw my bike around like it is nothing.

I weigh 105lbs and I had an r6 and had no problems with the weight of it.The r6 is one if not the lightest 600cc bike out there.

 

I weigh 105 pounds too and I can handle my CBR alright. Don't know if I could pick it up if it fell over but let's hope it never comes to that.

Anyways getting back to the question at hand... I think you could hangle it... Go take the MSF Class . Handling it won't be the problem what might be is picking it up if it falls. Which I had the chance to do about a month back... no damage though except for my $40 abercrombie shirt I had a few close call sitting at a stop light where I'd hit the shifter and it would jolt forward and would have to catch it at a 50ish degree angle and pull it back up b4 it met the concrete....
But I'm sure you could handle it! just take the <u>MSF</u>

im 130. my bike rides like it was made specifically for me.

 

Bossman - My friend races a ZX-9 and a ZX-12 and SHE is money on the bike on and off the track AND she only weight 95 lbs. The only things you need to worry about is controlling your ego on the bike and getting a lot of gear that will protect you, not just make you look good. If you pay $100 for a helmet, expect that helmet not to be too comfortable and not protect you to the fullest. Also, ride with other experienced riders and ALWAYS go at your own speed. I tell every rider I'm with to ride at the speed they feel comfortable and don't try to be superman. Good luck.

Nope I am not a girl.But like someone said above me being that light means I am faster.

 

I'm like 115 last time I checked and I used to ride Turbogixxer's GSXR1k all the time, boy that was fun

So what, if your 105lbs your faster than me... OOOo im terrified. You'll faster by a few tenths... But the difference is if our bikes fell over... I wouldn't have to call out other people to help me pick it up..
I wasn't hating, just making an observasion that 105 for a 18-and older man is VERY VERY light. Most girls weight a tad bit more than that..

But take MSF class and get license like tony said.

proves you dont know much about bikes
doesnt matter if your a girl, guy, 100lbs, 170lbs, its not hard to pick up a bike, if you know how to. it doesnt take no macho to pick up any darn bike.
