Default I have no clue which stage cams to run on my mildly modded GSR swap????

I have read and read, searched and searched and I still can't decide whether Stage 2 cams are too big i.e. Skunk2 Stage2, EF-1 M22s. Would Skunk2 Stage 1 or CTR w/ ITR valvetrain be better. I keep reading different things from different highly regarded All Motor forum people.

The mods on my car are
98 GSR motor w/ 00 JDM ITR tranny
ClutchMasters Stage 4 Clutch
AEM Short Ram Intake
ITR TB
Skunk2 Intake Manifold
Thin Metal Headgasket
AEM Cam Gears
JDM DC 4-1 header w/ 2.5" collector(I may even buy an ANR from a friend)
CarSound 2.5" inlet/outlet Cat
Apexi N1 full catback exhaust

I know I need to upgrade the fuel w/ a fuel rail, fpr, and even a VAFC but which cams would yield me the best overall power through the powerband. This swap is in a 92 hatch CX w/ a GSR fuel pump and P28 w/ Mugen spec chip. This car is very much daily driven and I drive from SC to GA almost every other weekend.

I would go with the ef-1 M22s & Hondata. Scrap the aftermarket fuel rail, Vafc, and Mugen chip.

Thanks anymore ideas. I am really considering the M22s just never considered the Hondata. Didn't think my car had enough work for it.

Hondata does everything and more your chip & Vafc could do, just for less $$$.

If you had a stock motor Hondata will still be a decent upgrade.

Don't even buy cams if you have nothing yet to tune with. Skunk2 stage 1's for you my friend.

Or Skunk2 Stage 2's and P30 pistons.

Believe me I'll get the Hondata if I need it.

get hondata, cam gears, and a real header before you get cams.

I already have AEM cam gears as stated b4 and I have a JDM DC Sports 4-1 w/ 2.5" collector but I may get an ANR this weekend from UncleBen'sRacing.

If I buy cams/valvetrain I'll get the Hondata at the same time.

skunk stage 2 w/ valvetrain are a nice upgrade . A management system always help to get the most out of them .
skunk stage 3 would be a bit to much lol , well at least till you get some nice forged pistons(with deep valve pockets) and a bit of higher CR to get the best out of them ...

I'd get different cam gears, AEM's often slip and break..

When I was all motor... I had skunk2 stage 1 cams and enjoyed them. They work fine with stock valve train as well. Maybe go with the EF-1 cams, and EF-1 valvetrain. Whatever you go with... Get rid of that chipped ECU, and go Hondata!
