I can't figure it out.. My math tells me 9 races of 14 count (9.24 rounding down), but some people have told me 10 count..

I really wish I could understand.. Even reading the rulebook has me confused.. But like I said, thats not hard to do sometimes..

 

10 races count. out of 14. Looks like it will be the same for 04 as well.

No, no, no. 14*2/3=9.333333....

There is no mention of rounding in the rules, and if it doesn't say you can, you can't.

You have to figure your position at the 1/3rd point of the 10th highest point race you ran and include that in your points total.

...Or maybe you take 1/3rd of the points from the 10th highest point race you ran and add that to your total.

...Or maybe I've been spending too much time at the IT forum, watching people argue over whether speakers and their wires have to stay in the car since the rules only mention removing the radio.

I thought you already had 10 races... you only missed CMP, right? I really don't know..haven't been keeping track either.

 

at the risk of thread heigh jack, how much do you guys spend per race weekend? I'm going to guess with travel/food/tires/entry fee/brakes/gas/other it's around $1,000 per weekend. However, you have 2 races per weekend right? So that comes to about $5,000 per year just to run in HC? ...and that's after you have the car built, and not including any damage repair for the year.

Darn, I need to make more money!!

BeaveRun = blown tranny, only 2 points the whole weekend ... Plus 2 0s for CMP..

If it was 9 races, would be easier..

Jerry is correct though, rounding isn't in the rules, it must be illegal..
