Which engine should i go with???!!!!
alright guys, i figured how to make a poll now so now im cooking with gas here are my choices.
1) D16Z6 with high compression pistons, ecospeed head treatment (the 1300 dollar one) exospeed cam. The redline would be 8600 rpm
2) B18A1 with a B16 head both stock since that would probobaly be all i could afford
3) B18A1 block, stock with 65 shot nitrous
4) D16z6, stock head, block sleeved from exospeed and 125-ish direst port nitrous
i am tending to lean towards option 1 since that would be one ficking rev happy engine and if you guys have another suggestion hit other and let me know what you think.
the Total Budget for the swap would be 3000 dollars including everything!!!! mounts ect. let me know what you think. all combos would have a lighter flywheel and nice clutch
ok the GSR deal sounds really appetizing, if you think i should do that then vote other

I agree, and it will probably be the fastest and most reliable, let alone the cheapest.

I would spring for a little bit more and shop around for a B18c for a few hundred more. Otherwise the B18a/b option with laughing gas is the best option.
well i was thinking about that but i really either wanna stick with SOHC Vtec or the DOHC non vtec

Any particular reason? The need to be different could well paint you into an expensive dead end here. If you go with the GSR motor you're almost certain to avoid future regrets.

yeah that might be true, well we'll see what everyone else says too, another problem is my AC, thats half the reason i switched cars because this one has AC and thats tough to keep in a swap
