92 EX Auto The shift gets stuck when put in park. I have to use my key to shift gears!
This just started happening. I have to put my key in the shift release just to get my car into drive. Anyone know what this could be

I would say that your problem is the SHIFT SELECTOR SWITCH. When the car is in park ... is the "P" lit up? Chances are that it isn't. You should be able to turn the key to the "on" position and press on the brake pedal and hear a clicking sound in the console. This is the switch I am speaking of. If you do NOT hear that click ... you can not get the car out of park.

Thank for the info. Thats exactly what is is so what part do I have to replace?
the same thing is happening on the old mans 94 accord he bought the weekend for my sister
