1. Engine degreaser
2. Pressure washer
3. Gasket scraper

Have fun.

get a drill and buy a scuff pad little 1.5"-2" circular pad

go to any autoparts store its in the paint isle works real good and easy too

to clean a motor first try and remove as much of the thick layers with a scraper

then soak with some degreaser to soften and loosen the muck

get a wire brush and go to town

repeat several times until clean

then finish it off with some brake cleaner ...get the Next Dimension stuff Blue can

its alcohol based and evaporates in seconds

can i just put the block in a tub of dishwasher and scrub it all up with a brush? or will that make it too rusty? what if i dried it all up?
