would you rock autozone rotors (20$ each)? or brembro blanks for 126$ whole set?

I need to replace my rotors because they are warped to ****. Ive heard good things about autozone rotors for their price @ 20$ per rotor. I also came across a deal for 126 shipped for new brembro blanks (yes new). Im thinking about running stock pads all the way around with either setup. For those of you who are running autozones please share your thoughts about them.
What do you guys think? autozone or brembro.. heh brembro sounds so much better

rotors are a wear item, honestly I would save the cash and go for autozones since you will be replacing them at somepoint anyways.

I agree with StyleTEG. You can't even tell a difference between the two rotors when you compare them side by side. There's even a thread about it on here somewhere. For cheaper OEM-style pads, look into AEM maybe. If you can find them for a good price, go for it. They perform pretty much just like stock. Not bad for the money.
is running Autozone $20 front rotors on his Integra right now and will buy another pair if these ever warp.
Autozone (Aimco) rotors will work for you just fine. I think a friend described it best when he used the term "throw away technology".
I use the AEM brake pads and they perform well. No squeaks, very low light colored dust.

High quality rotors are painted inside so the don't rust. My friend works at a brake shop and says some rotors are such bad quality that they come warped right out the box. I would go with a good company.
I was also told that some brembo rotors are not made in italy and are bad quality.

so what would be considered "good" rotors?
hm.. okay I just went to autozone.. and they said 21.99each for front and 49each for rears.. someone enlighten me..
its strange that the rears are significantly priced higher than the fronts.. id imagine the opposite. I asked the autozone guy why there was a huge difference in price and he says "maybe there are sensors for the rears".. I called another autozone just in case the previous guys just quoted me incorrectly.. but nope.. its correct 21f/ 49r... I asked this guy what the difference was and he says "its probably more because we have to special order it, its probably the shipping costs"

i agree... things you replace often don't need to be of the highest quality, unless you're racing. autozone gets a
from me for regular maintanence parts.

if you drive like a maniac you'll warp cheap rotors...I do....get something quality, brakes may be a wear item but stopping is somewhat important

Yup -- that's my plan once I need some new pads.

Did you check Autozone online? They cost cheaper than the front ones for my GSR. Also, are you sure you can't just turn the rear? In any case, you'd only be saving about $17 since that's what they cost each and that's the price to turn 2 rotors in my area. For pads, also check Axxis Ultimates. http://www.carbotecheng.com has really good prices. I would go with those for front and OEM for rear.
