well i bought this 3" hi-flow for my car and it the screen in the middle rattles and it's shot...so i'm going to gut it...ideas, on how to do this...i took off the 3 bolts and looked in it and i see the screen but have no idea how to get it out...the otherside is welded and i dont want to have to saw it off and weld it back on....any ideas are helpful....also mkteller did you know with new cat converters they must have a 25,000 mile warranty....you said you would send me some info to get the new one and you never did... oh well...anybodys help is appreciated

 

its hard to break you really need to pound on it and after it broke it would go into your exaust and ratle worse i would say take it off and punch it out or get a new one

 

Sounds like someone forgot to keep the warranty papers that came with your Cat....
