Default Quick Q&A - Lightweight Crank Pulley

I DO NOT want your opinions on if this is a good or bad thing, I've done the searches, read the threads....I just want to know (from people who have them and/or know a lot about them)

#1) What brand
#2) Where to buy
#3) Who has the best prices

Stick with OEM Honda CTR N1 Crank Pulley.

You'll run into the same problem with them all... No Harmonic balancer and will have adverse effects on your CRANK SHAFT.
I am back to stock after using Unrthodox setup and a new crank later I went to CTR N1 now I use Stock Didn't mess up the crank withthe CTR one but I didn't want to take a chance.

BTW I can get you the CTR N1 if interested PM me

Yes, like i said before I read all the issues and decided to go with it anyway. I was leaning towards the CTR, where can I buy it? Will I need other things? (ie new alt. belt, I have no more PS, so that doesn't matter)

Why Joe? My suggestion would be to check out Unorthodox's website under the "Specials" section. There are currenlty a number of "blemished" pulleys on there for excellent prices. Both myself and my brother bought our UR crank pulleys this way. The blemishes were extremely minor cosmetic imperfections on both our pulleys. I'm not sure how close you are to UR, but you could even go there to check them out and pick one up at the same time.

Edit: BTW, I believe they currently only have the 90-93 Integra pulleys in blemished stock, but that would work perfectly for you since you don't need the PS belt anyway. And yes, you'll need new alternator and A/C belts.

I thought long and hard about this, and just couldn't sway from the OEM side of the house. I've raced with a CTR crank pulley for about a year with no problems.

Edit to add:

I'd buy it from either David at http://www.randdmotorsports.com or Mike at http://www.ipsracing.com.

Stick with stock - but if you were to go with one that is not OEM - then I would go with the Unorthodox Racing ones.

Not much gain to be had with these things you know.
