WTB 2000-2001 Type R ASAP
I know this is not the place to post this but because of this stupid trial user rule I cannot post where I want to. I was 2001ProjectTypeR which was an account I started in 2000 but from lack of use I guess they erased it. I am now looking to buy another Type R and ASAP. I hope that the moderator will either allow this to be moved to the appropriate forum or take away this stupid trial user status since I am a member from 2000. Color is not an issue as long as it has no more than 70k I don't care. Email me at fuzzypunks@hotmail.com. Give as much info as possible about your Type R. I will be buying one before the week is over and location is NOT an issue. Thanks
I have a 2000 Black ITR no mods/ all stock. Looking to get 18000obo. Has pre-owned certified warr.(100K) The Car has 56K. Good condition. Let me know if you want more info..

Whether or not you believe this is a stupid rule, there is a good reason this was put into place, and your thread pretty much sums up why there is such a "trial" user status.

I am a member of many tech boards and a moderator on one and I find no such justification for such a rule. What could 20 days prove, to make you a better member, more worthy of a person so you can then post? I will tell you this. By the time 20 days is up I will have bought a type r and the members of this forum who are trying to sell their type r's will be the loosers because I was not able to IM them or reply to their post in the for sale forums letting them know my interest in their car or not being able to see their profile to get their email. Those are the people who will suffer from this stupid rule, not me.

Sorry but id have to agree with the trial user. The number of days you have been registered should not determine your worthyness of posting in limited places, pm's, etc.
I think they implimented that rule to deter the amount of trolls that sign up and post bs junk, although there are a handful that truly want to sign up and remain a regular to learn, buy/sell, etc. Yea I know its a gray area but I guess its a way to establish some type of "credit" if you will. Hope you find your R.

Trial user is a great feature. Notice we don't have half of the bullshit problems other forums do.
But if you're looking for a car and you can't deal with that feature then maybe you should ask a moderator to help you out instead of complain.

I have emailed and recieved no response. I can't IM them because of the Trial User status. It's a viscous circle.
Thanks to those who have emailed me. I have emailed back each one of you.

there is a reason for the trial user status...regardless of your history on another board, no one here knows you...
We have had great success w/ limiting the posts of new users...it keeps the trolls to a minimum and makes this the great place it is...
I moved to appropriate forum.
