ok anyways so driving the car was no problem for the month, i popped the occasional CEL and realized my air intake temp sensor was melted from my LS motor dunno what hte hell happened with that. so anyways after drivint a while sometimes itll miss around 3K or hesitate a little it was very intermittant and barely happenned often. recently while driving my girl and my friend i noticed at 3000-3200 RPM the car was miss and there woudl be a strong smell of gas.. this would only happen in 5th gear, at 3K RPM, aroudn 70 MPH, vac reading between 17-15 where it would do this. brought it back to DSR and lawrence looked at the map for me and told me it looked fine and nothign seemed to be out of spec that would cause such a thing. i asked if it was an ignition problem and he said he didnt htink so ebcasue it was gear based and RPM based and vaccum based, instead of through most of the other gears. he gave it a little more gas in that area and i guess the problem became worse and it moved into 4th gear where it did that. and 5th gear at higher RPM... you guys think it might be a on the tad rich side >? should i get a new set of plugs and gap them tighter ? its a .28 gap right now i beelive. thanks
