Default Amp --> Speakers Question

Stereo people:

Just thinking about getting an amp to push the 4 6.5" Pioneer TSsomethings that i have in my sol. I found a power akoustic amp that boasts 70x4 for pretty cheap...I'm not too picky when it comes to audio but i was just wondering if its worth it to upgrade to a seperate amp to push regular speakers. I'm never going to get subs or anything 1) its a del sol...i need all the space i can get and 2) stereo stuff is heavy. My sohc doesn't need to pull any more weight.

Just because you drive a del sol doesn't mean you have to sacrifice your music, you can build a box to fit 3 tens behind your seat, only thing you lose is your storage compartment.

hey you might have a problem at the speaker, if your cd is still spinning then it's definitely not a power and ground issue at the deck, try to check the speaker connection at each speaking making sure it's not touching anything. if not, it might be time for a new deck.

Amplifiers really bring out some life into speakers. If it's $100 or less, go for it!!
