Help me choose which one
Here is my situation. I sold my ITR a few months ago and bought a hatch and a house. Planned on building the hatch into a track ***** but a friend just made me an offer I can't refuse on it. Decided I wanted an S2000 so I've been researching and looking. I've found two local cars I like;
'01 GPW with 15k. Immaculate. Garage kept. New tires. Dealership has performed all service including 15k check-up. Extra set of OE wheels included.
Basics: red interior, carpeted hump, plastic window.
'02 Red with 12k. One slight ding in driver's door (under mirror), but Dent Wizard should be able to pull out since paint isn't chipped. Rear tires have approx. 5-6k left on them.
Basics: black interior, leather hump, glass window, stereo tweeters, supposedly better ECU (worth 5-8 whp more over '00-'01)
I can have either for $24,500. Which do I get?
I've always loved the white with red! The car is flawless and the owner (eye surgeon) is a car nut. Extra wheels would probably be sold off as I'd get something nicer. Plastic window is debatable point. Some say it is fine (plus bigger visibility area) but does need some care. Red one has been stored outside but has been taken care of. Dig is just due to driving so I'm not worried. I'd have to buy tires for it, so price goes up $300. If better ECU is factual, then it is worth it to me since I'll probably be leaving this car alone, no modding other than roll-bar. Interior does look better.
I know I can't go wrong with either. Give me your thoughts?

It depends how much you like Red. IMO, the window is easier to live with than a color you don't like. I already have bad luck with tickets, I cannot afford to have a Red "Ticket Me" car.
White + Red is very nice IMO. Just make sure it's not faded. Extra set of OE wheels is a big place. Carpeted hump can be easily bought, the price of the rims more than makes up for this IMO.
IMO, if you've always loved White with red, get it. Don't settle for another color if you have one right in front of you. Laslty, of course test drive both cars. Keep us posted and good luck.

cant go wrong with white and red. I think white ones are more rare than the other colors. of course it also depends on what color you really like
