Default 96 Accord LX non-vtec TO VTECH!!!>???

I just got a 96 Accord LX 2dr 5-speed non-vtec/ if anyone could help me out i need to find out how to upgrade to a vtec and about how much it would cost/ would it be better to get a ecu off ebay or a brand new one? HEELP!!

if i had the cash i would/ but id rather switch to vtec on this piece of **** for now? u got anything on upgrading it?

I dont know if the vtec/non vtec heads are interchangable, but I wouldnt bother. Its a better idea to save your money. Make the car look nice (not bling, but nice) and when you have all the money you need, do it right, do it once and be done with it.
