Default Has anyone come up with a good 14x7 wheel option!??

Trust me..I searched high and low. Ebay, google, H-T....the list goes on.

I know everyone has done the same but has anyone come up with any good options for a cheap light 14x7 4x100 in the offset we need?

is anyone running the diamond racing wheels in a 14x7 4x100? I was under the impression that the available offset will not work with a FWD.

I dont see why not.

It is a pretty mean offset but hey call em up and ask if they can do something for ya. They are a good company easy to deal with

Panasport Ultra Lights are good value, it is a quality wheel that will last and last. If you bend them they don't break and you can have them straightened.

I guess that I resorted to buying a car that will run ITB rather than ITA. Now I have two years to find a stock of 14x6's...

they make their challenger wheel in 14x7 with an offset that will work on our cars. It is $71 and weighs 17lbs.
search is your friend...

https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=627508

other than that, you will need to pay 200-300 per wheel for lightweight 14x7 (Panasport, Keizer, Kodiak, Circle Racing, etc.) - or get lucky with a used set. TSW Stealth (prone to cracking at the bolt plate from what I have heard), Borbet Type C both came in 14x7 with compatible offset, both discontinued, AFAIK.

ya, Panasports are expensive, new. Just keep an eye out on improvedtouring.com's classifieds. Eventually someone will be selling a set used. I got mine from a fellow HT member (thanks Tyson) for a great deal. I have since seen some for sale on it.com though

thanks guys...I will keep my eyes open for the panasports. Maybe a set of challengers will suffice for the meantime.

Wow - 2-piece 14x7 4x100 wheels for $150. I'm suprised no one has even bid on these puppies.

I am a diamond dealer. They have the 14X7 avail with different offsets because they build the wheel when you order them. I am going to get these wheels to get my car on the track then maybe buy a good alum set down the road and have spares for the rain.

they measure the offset in inches. I will call tire rack and find out the offset mm and see if they can do it. I have heard of people running these on hondas so I dont think it will be a problem.

sorry, IntegraMike, I know that Diamond can make these wheels for Honda - I had called them a while back.
I was replying to Jake about the BMW wheels on ebay - they didn't specify the wheels' offset, making it a crapshoot to purchase...

So I have a friend who runs a german car parts business now who SWEARS that he can source new 14x7 Borbet Type T ET35 from a "secret" source in Germany. What's a reasonable price?

If this turns out to be for real, anyone interested?

If you want to talk theoretical, I spoke to the Rota people at SEMA and they are going to re release this wheel in the proper offset, bolt pattern, 14's and 15's" for Honda's soon, so they say.

That's the one in 13x8 now?

Did they actually mention 14x7? or could it be a 14x6 or 8 ?
Any word on timeframe?

we ran our ITA intgera with the old BMW BBS rims that come on the 88-92 325s they are 14x6.5 4x100 and they can hold Toyo 225 tiers. And its also very light for an OEM rim.

This might be completely irrelevant, as I have not checked to see if the backspace is right, or if they even make a 14x7, but the company is "ultralite" from the UK. I believe they originated the panasport design. Here's the email I got from them asking for pricing on a 15x7" model:

Dear Sir

Our 7x15 has 12p offset 112mm rear space @ 105.00 pounds sterling each inc nus and caps

Kind regards

karen

Here's a bling bling chrome one (this is actually the one I inquired about):

They make sizes all the way down to 12", but I can't find their site right now, so I can't confirm 14x7.
