Default FS and ?? getting my dx tonigth details..

ok i am getting an 89 dx civic tonigth with 89k miles on it. i am gonan put the engine into my si. b.c mine is blown, and then im completeing a mini me swap on it if i can get going with it.. but yeah for now im putting on the si camshaft into my dx engine, will it be just as powerful? and does everyhting bolt directly up, not as in motor mounts but liek wires and stuff? ok thanks

o yeah and then i have an 89 civic dx with everyhint but an engine and tranny, the motor for me and tranny is bad.. i have everyhting else, im gonna update after i actually see the car maybe ill do it in the classifieds

As long as you use the Si intake manifold and injectors, distributor, injector resistor, and keep it MPFI, then everything will be plug and play.

I just replied to your other post that was just like this one....

If you do swap the Si cam into the DX engine, be sure to put the Si rocker assembly in there too. Or you could just put the Si head on the DX block.
