Ladwig might for et, because he ran 8.457 but mph that will be hard to catch up to I think. Those were some incredible passes.

I obviously can't speak from experience here. But will the weather really be as cool in Pomona as it was in E town? Raceway park can heat a cold track, but can the folks in Pomona cool air temps down?? Just a thought.

If we're fortunate Pomona will be the 70's, maybe high 60's in the evening. But that's nothing compared to the 50 degree temps at Englishtown. Pomona is also at 800 ft of elevation vs. sea level for E-town. And the quality of the air is better in Jersey too.

I sure hope the track in Pomona is good because I dont think we'll be satisfied unless we finish the season dipping in the .30's....

congrats guys! cant say that enough. way to hold it down for jersey!! that unmeasurable amount of effort you guys put in that car really paid off. i was a couple cars back when you made the final run. i couldnt make out the time cause im blind but i could definatly see that 180 MPH. that **** was crazy!! that just changed the game.

No, its not a joke. Pomona is smack dab in smog central. Compared to even a track like Bakersfield there is a lot more crap in the air which means less O2. There are few trees in the area (none near the track) and lots of asphalt to hold heat. And who cares about "Somona" and Oregon. We're talking about Pomona here. It'll be tough to go faster than E-town - its one of the fastest tracks in the country, especially this time of year. Doesn't mean Gary won't kick ***, just means it'll be tough to beat his show of power last weekend.

Hope you eat your own words. From what i hear from their crew, dont be suprised if they run .30 at pomona. E town is non the less one of the better tracks but when you got your $#!t together it wont be tough at all.

You ever say anything topical? Someone raised questions about conditions at Pomona, I gave them a factual answer - which judging by your first post you didn't quite comprehend.

Has nothing to do with eating my words. I said it'll be tough to go faster at Pomona than E-town - disagree? Fine, but the weather station and history support me. If Gary manages to go quicker at Pomona, it'll be in spite of the weather - and more difficult than doing it at E-town.

Think before you type next time.

So where does that sit, is this a street car? I'm a little new to the whole import thing, not really into it just wanna know more about it. That's wicked fast, but there are some local guy's with street cars runnin' 9.0's, and could drive 'em to work everyday if asked to. Not tryin' to knock anybody just wondering.

I doubt they'd pass smog tests too.

Anyhow, I think Pomona will be cooler in the evening. If the weather was anything like how it was last week when I was there it will be cool. It was pretty foggy during the morning till about 1pm and then it warmed up only to cool down by dinner time. But you know how Cali weather is.....
