Tried searching, but could not come up w/ anything...Just wondering what the lowest psi people are running in this type of tire...I was running about 16-17 psi, but spinning alot so I dropped pressure to 15 psi, and half of the time the car hooks, and half the time it wheel hops...Anyone gone lower than 15 psi w/ good results??????

 

SORRY, I meant 205-50-15..

 

when i had drag radial and went to the track i ran them in the 12-15 psi range.

do what works best for you. everysetup is going to be differant. R&D my friend.

 

yeah, I was not sure if you could go below 15 psi or not..I will try 12-13 psi on wed. @ the track and see how I make out...thanks

 

I usually run 20 psi. I never tried to run any lower. What's your power level and how are you launching?

 

power level is prob. in the 250-260 whp level, and when i launch at 4500 it will spin through first and pull mid 2.0 60 fts.., and when I launch @ 3500 it usually wheel hops, but once in a while it hooks great and I pull a mid to high 1.9 60ft...
