Default Car Flood. What are possible water inlets to engine

Ok my car got partial flooded. It was not high enough to get through the intake manifold. Is that the only place water would be able to leak through in an event of a flood? What other engine componenet should i be worry about. The flood didn't reach as high as the alternator. I think exhaust was spitting out white smoke dripping out a little water. After driving for a while it cleared up and runs fine now. My guess is that the flood was in the headers and catalyct converter area. So is my exhaust damage if water has gotten in to it a little. I remember seeing a cross section of the exhaust and it has these cotton looking things in them.

your probably fine. The exhaust will get hot and the worst thing that will happen is premature rust.... but then again, consider the alternative...a worse flood. You lucked out
