I've got a dc2. Do I need to take the front end off to remove/install a fender? How about the sideskirts?

 

side skirt removal - yes

there's 2 bolts holding the fender down behind the skirt towards the front wheel.

there's another bolt inside the door hinge jam right underneath the pillars.

4-5 bolts under the hood.

remember to take out the fender lining as well.

also 1 screw that attaches the fender to the front bumper.

i would remove the front bumper as well to just make things easier.

i've ripped my car apart so many times that i can the front bumper off in 5 minutes or less, literally.

good chance to clean your air filter if you have CAI when your bumper is off.
