toda cam vs. ITR cam profiles
Ive been reading up on the TODA setup, and it seems to be worthwhile, but How are the cam profiles compared with the jdm ITR k20a cams?
FOr example, if I bought a k20a (type-r) swap, what kind of gains could be expected from toda cams? is it even worth it?

Toda makes their cams in Japan as an upgrade for the ITR since the Type-S is not sold there. Following that logic, the Toda cams will make good power in an ITR engine as well....maybe even more power than what Type-S owners get because the ITR has higher compression.
? anyhow how the ITR cams compare w/ Toda spec A? The gains are very similar..both have been able to show very good gains but it seems like Toda is the safer way while giving more consistent gains vs the ITR way (ITR cams,ecu reflash, etc)..Toda is also slightly more expensive, but you get their spec A cams, Hondata reflash made especially for the toda cams, and titanium valve springs making sure your valvetrain can handle the power increase
Please read my post carefully. The Toda cams are MADE AS AN UPGRADE FOR THE ITR IN JAPAN. Therefore they're more aggressive. Do some searching on ClubRSX, the Toda cams and Toda flash are worth 12hp over ITR cams and flash.
