Hey I might be getting a free CRX. I live in DE and I might be getting the free CRX in PA. What do I need to do to get it registered? My GF friend is giving it away and I'm gonna take it if possible. He asked her about a month or so ago and I never came to het mind when he asked.

I had a civic b4 but it got stolen so I never was able to complete modding my civic. I got a wrx and and crx is gonna be my beater until the engine dies. Then it's goes in a b16a.

She's gonna ask him when she has the chance and I was wondering what I need to do to get it? Insurance, registration, emissions? Thanks guys.

depends on your area. You'll have to get it insurance on it first (at least in Oregon I've had to haev proof of insurance before I could register the car to me) then you register it to you, pay all the fees associated with registration, if the guy doesn't have the title you need to have a new title ordered but then that should be it.

 

i'm not sure about DE, but in maryland you need to get it inspected. it has to pass and they will give you a slip saying that you passed. then you have to get insurance on it and then you can take it to get registered at the DMV or MVA. whatever it's called where you live.

oh yeah, you will also need the ownership title. whoever you get the car from needs to sign that. and you can just fill out some bogus amount of money that you bought the car for.

 

its an 88 crx. Stock.

 

First, you need to get the title switched into your name. then you need to have it inspected and insured before you can get tags. Nice to see another DE guy on the board. Good luck.
