is my tranny going?
im using GM syncromesh the 10/qt stuff.... i got a b16 with that damn short tranny... well anyways i got a slight grind from 2nd > 3rd at high rpms 7k plus and occasional 1st to 2nd...... but doesnt grind at all when im normally driving ..... how long does my tranny have left?!?!

the grinds are more than likely your syncros going out. You have plenty of life left on your tranny the grinds will eventualy get worse so I would look into a rebuild but you have time. Also you might try adjusting you clutch cable that might help if it is out of adjustment.
