Default Brake booster/Master Cylinder pushrod gap?

The MC on my CRX took a dump, so I'm replacing it. The Helms manual talks about adjusting the gap between the MC and booster pushrods, but only gives instructions for doing so with Genuine Honda Tool #123@*&^%?$. Anyone got a shade-tree method that doesn't require a tool I'll only use once every few years?

Your not supposed to adjust it ever, its set at the factory. Have fun with fucked up brakes if you feel like messing with it.
