z6 clutch with 90 tranny?
hey guys, i'm just wondering if the 92-95 clutch will work on the 90-91 si tranny. i read about a mini-me swap and they said you can do this with 89-91 trannys. but i just want to make sure. there was a post around here where someone said 89-91s have the same # of splines, but 89 have a groove and 90-91s havce two, does this matter? thanx.
90-00 Civics have the same size flywheel.... therefore u can use any clutch among all these ones
88-89 have a smaller clutch surface on the flywheel,, thats why u cant use them clutches on these
the 88's have a different spindle count than the 89-00 and thats why u need to use a 88 clutch on these trannies...
in short terms
88-small clutch + different 21 spindle count
89-small clutch + 20 spindle count
90-00 - big clutch + 20 spindle count
