Exedy cerametallic clutch?
Anybody using an Exedy cerametallic clutch? How does it feel? Is the pedal heavier than stock? Any regrets using it? (Did search but nothing found on cerametallic clutch).
Yuck, I hated that clutch, it was too heavy, too abrupt, too much chatter, and lasted 7000 miles on the stock fw.
I would never get it again
I went with the ACT xtss and now very happy.

It just a bit heavier than stock. Alot of ppl don't like them cuz they are a bit too grabby. IMO, I like clutches which offers that grabby feel.
Pedal feel is about the same as stock to me. It grabs pretty well but doesn't like being slipped...makes funny noises. Whenever someone outside the car (or inside for that matter) hears me pull away, they look at my car with a puzzled look on their face.
No complaints really, it just makes taking off a bit trickier with a lightweight FW, but I think that's true of any clutch like it. Oh and mine has about 10k on it.

Ok...
If you do a search for Excedy clutches you will most likely find Negative comments, and if you do a search for ACT clutches you will find alot of
and good comments.
Austin had a post a while back about the quality of the ACT.
Search,
good luck.
