broken a solanoid in a swap, what's it called

i blew my y7, and put anther in.. auto tranny, on the front passenger side there was a set of 2 solanoids about half inch around, at the bottom of the tranny near the wheel, twords the front, i broke the one right off when dropping the engine in. What is this, what's it called, and how much should a junkyard want to charge me for it

ALSO.. how do i remove power steering, i took off the bracket, and pulley/belt.. and i still have the hose.. do i just tuck taht somewhere and i'm all set ?
