Default Idea for a cheap wheel lock***

I saw a wheel lock in the classifieds and thought about this...
what about those long u bolt bike locks? I have one thats like this


i thought it would be a good idea for our wheels instead of higher prices wheel locks

You would need 4 of them. They arent cheap either. I used to work at a bike shop and the u locks go for around 30-40 a piece. So that adds up.

true but the wheel locks i saw (classifieds cough cough) was 115 bucks each

They have a larger boot for cars. Somebody had like 10 for sale for $100 each awhile ago.

Those bike wheel locks are easily busted with a scissor jack (stock honda jack).

Plus they could still steal your rim and cut that **** up later when they get home. I don't think that will stop your car from drving. You get a and from me.

the boot is so your car doesnt get stolen, you dont put one on each wheel to prevent rim theft. plus, a wheel boot will mess up rims.

i.e. you didn't pay your parking tickets...

I thought about that too... but then like people said, it's easily broken...

Also, might be a bad idea if ONE time, you forget to take it off and drive off....
