Hmmm.
I have a 2nd gen B16a in my crx, and i dont have the knock sensor hooked up. It used to throw a code after i have been driving for a while, but it started taking longer and longer for the light to come on. Eventually, the light just stopped coming on altogether?!? WTF? did the ecu just get used to not getting a signal from it or what? I know my engine light is good, but its been bugging me. I think i'm gonna unhook another sensor as a test.

 

I have thought the same thing about my obd2 ecu that it sometimes gets used to the second o2 sensor getting a bad reading because of my test pipe but it eventually comes on for one of 2 reasons most of the time.

 

maybe CEL lite is burnt out.
