Houston SCCA autocross images from 10/5/03 event...
http://www.imagestation.com/album/?id=4288953475
These are some of the images I took today of the event I ran at today. They are mainly of the afternoon run group since I ran in the morning group and had no time to take pictures then.
Had a great time at the event (though I did get owned by the sun today...) and was fourth fastest in STF ( i believe) - make the 4th an automatic 3rd fastest if the class rules were applied and the way-not STF legal Mini Cooper S ran where he should have. Anyways, I had fun seeing how the Falken Azenis and rear ARB made a difference...WEEEEEEEEEE. Definately too much fun to have in a truck...especially once the slolams came up - she behaved beautifully and precisely! My fastest time was a 59.014 (should have been a 58.xxx run if I hadn't bogged on the start...) with the Cooper S running a 54.xxx (second place was an AE86 Corolla running 2-3 seconds behind the Cooper S with a 57.xxx)... I'm pretty sure I was within a half-second of Mike Spears, who is the usual front runner in STF class - will have to see once the results are posted. FTD was a near tie between a C Mod formula car and a BMW "Lightweight" [both are in the linked photo album] at a low 49.xxx, and most of the faster cars were running 53-54 seconds.

No, I'ts kinda hard for me to take picture while I'm driving....
Actually, I'm sure the pro photographer there took pictures of my truck - but I'm not about to fork over major dough for them. And about the truck being tail happy - she was actually very neutral and throttle steerable...dare I say, she was almost on rails...
The image below should show why she handles wayyyyy better than any stock truck, F-150 Lightning included:

I did end up in fourth place and within a half second of Mike Spears. Here's the results http://www.houscca.com/solo2/soloresults.aspx
