My buddies gsr is making a funny noise right when he takes off...not on a normal take off but on like a NOOB driver take off where the clutch is just held in a bit longer on the take off...its coming from the intake side but he doesnt have an intake but i do know his resonator box is removed...i was thinking that it could be since his resonator box is removed but any other suggestions on what it could be...the noise sounds like the whistle from an intake filter but its a lot louder

ahhh.... whswiiiiiiiiiiiiissssssssshhhhhhhh (almost like a BOV )
almost like a nosie when the brakes are going bad but i just changed the brakes ( and no its not the brakes breaking in) this noise has been going off for a while,

 

I had a noise like that...I think I had the idle to low turned the idle back up and it went away. don't know if thats your problem but...?

 

well if it also happens when you go down a gear and slowly release the clutch untill the revs match up without blipping...well that my friend is probably of one the clutch bearings....dont remember its exact name...but i believe its on the recieving side of the transmission.

 

i had that prob it was a piece of plastic hangin down rubin on the tire..but i would check tranny fluid and engine oil to be on the safe side
