why would that cause the motor to blow?
i can understand the turbo, look at that long *** line fighting gravity.
i run mine from there, about 3 k miles now and no problems.

they make it that long for a reason. and the motor gave because the shop that installed the piston forgot to put a circlip back onto the wristpin and the wristpin was scraping up and down the side of the cylinder wall

what is the reason fo the line being that long?
they have a 90 degree fitting on there, why is it pointed up rather than down?

and he wondered why it never hit vtec if your running your feed line from here i strongly urge you to relocate it because the end result will hit your wallet

why wouldnt you be able to tap there for the oil line that cant be more pressuer than where the oil pressure sensor is right or am i missing something i think the reason the turbo blew is because of the oil return port not facing the ground
PS i dont have mine tapped there

the best place for your oil feed line is closer to the oil pump not as far away as you can get it

ive seen a tap like this before.. ah yes.

DSM's come STOCK like that!

hrmm
that sucks though. I wonder if that part(where its tapped) is effected by vtec? hrmmm. I would say it blew because it couldnt drain quick enough???(unless that tap is effected by vtec)

is it a good idea to tap in the spot where the oil pressure sender goes on the back of the block???? just use a T and then put the feed line on that along with the pressure sensor

heres a stock/modified(steel line) oil feed for a 1g dsm

so either on a vtec motor that part wont get oil unless in vtec(it should get oil all of the time though..im just confusing myself i think),or it couldnt get rid of the oil because of the way it was clocked/line was too long and it couldnt get enough to begin with and OR you got a shitty turbonetics turbo
