Default 88-91 Clutch question

Will the clutch for an 88-91 civic hb si fit a 90 civic std?

I have a 90 civic std. and a guy offered me a clutch that was slightly used for $30 .. it's out of a 4thgen si tranny.. not sure what year though..( i have some reason to believe that it may be an 88)...

Let me know asap..

If it is from an 88, then no you can't use it.

yea what he said also you know that a new clutch is like 120 for a new one.. i do know this for a used clutch unless it was a new clutch with a 1000 miles even for the thirty dollars its still the time to pull the tranny from the engine and replace it .... Take it from me spend the extra money and just do it right the first time...... my 2 cents

yeah 88-89 and 90-91.. I just slapped a exedy clutch in my 90- it was $99. now I know its not a 6 puck or anything, but I like it because it feels only slightly "harder-hitting" than stock..
