Question about 00 Si cd player into 00 dx hatch

Question about 00 Si cd player into 00 dx hatch
I might be buying a Si cd player soon to put into my 00 dx hatch that only has a radio. My question is what do I need for this conversion? Jus the headunit right? what about the harness? etc..

Yes its diff......
You need a 98+ stereo harness and a females plug for the 92-95 civic.....
I just did this but I can't find the link to give ya part numbers it cost me like 23 bucks for both harness shipped and 20 for the deck...lol

I take it would need the same harness's to install an Civic Si headunit onto a pre-99 integra also?
If the harness's are both black, how do you know which wires to splice???

one harness (I forget which one) is the one off teh deck that stays the same but the other is ordered for the car.....what I put up is the harness for the 00 deck and the harness for my 92 hatch......so yours would be different
