ITR rear calipers = ??
I'm gonna do a poor man's ITR brake set up and I wanted to know if any of you guys know of any other rear calipers that are the same as the ITR rears.
I was either thinking Preludes, Accord wagons or Legend, but honestly, I have no clue.

A friend of mine did the front only and mentioned to me that when he switched over to "real" ITR brakes (complete 5 lug), he noticed that the nose didn't dip as much as it did with the ITR front / GSR rear set up.
So, I figure it's just a little bit closer to the "real" thing without adding the lug.

and because of this, I've been meaning to take out my rear rotors and brake assembly....I'm coming into your shop this weekend to do that!

it's called brake balance... you dont want the front end to dive forward too much, can cause undersirable results under hard braking. (for auto-x/road racing at least)

If the set of ITR rear calipers I had a year ago were truely ITR rear calipers, then they won't bolt onto the GS-R's rear trailing arm/carrier. The bolt pattern was too narrow for the GS-R.
Go check brake pad part numbers (like on Cobalts site) for cars which use the same rear pads as an ITR.
I know for certain my wife's 93 Accord SE 4dr uses the same pads as the ITR and I'd bet it uses the same calipers too.

I do not think anyone has found a mathing application/chassis like for what you are looking for.
sorry.
-been keeping an eye on threads like this for years now, I didnt think the ITR rear calipers are used on any other chassis. possible the RSX has the correct one though, maybe that is true?

Well, one of the things that made me think it would be possible is a conversion that A-J is selling.

The Spoon twin-block caliper was originally designed for the larger front rotor of the DC2R (98 spec) and EK9. For EG, EK, and DC2 cars, the front rotor most be replaced. To help maintain proper front/rear brake bias distribution, the size of the rear calipers and rotors should be increased. Longer hub bolts and spacers will also be required. Clearance depends on the type of wheel, offset, and chassis. Please contact us for details. </TD></TR></TABLE>
I considered purchasing this from them, but 1, I'm too lazy to call (
), 2, I figure it's going to cost a million dollars.

blah...
Just get an adjustable prop valve. I have a guy who can do that for you.
It requires bending/routing new hardlines, but you'll be able to go Gran Turismo on the rest of the competition afterwards.
