Default Installing safc question

When I have entered all the data, like 4 cyl, throttle up, pressure sensors 6 in 6 out, if I turn off the car, and go back to those settings. They are back to the default settings. It is wired up correctly. What is up? Is it supposed to be like that? Or do they get saved, and every time you go look at them, they should still say the same thing?

Somethings not right, it fired up, but was rich, like dumped fuel all over the place....lol. Tripple checked my wiring, its all correct and soldered. But it seems odd, when I fired it up, it immediatly went back to the beggining and erased all of my settings again.

Ok, so that is actually what is happening, whenever the power to the unit is turned off, than it losses all of its memory and goes back to the default settings. Anyone had this happen? Any theories?
