I am wondering if anyone on this board has a JDM hatch on thier car.
and if so how to you mount the license plate?
because the hole are about .5 inch wider than the holes on the license plate.

please inform me, or point me in the direction to get a bracket to get it to fit.

He only has one bolt in. It's kinda rigged.

I guess you could put a 3rd hole in your tag. It will keep you from using any stunna tag frames. Sorry.

 

i want to try and stay away from drilling holes in my license plate or the stickers on the plate,

im guess i will just make a bracket for each side and the plate will stick out about 3/4 inch

may look funny but it will get the job done.

not sure what the link was for, i saw no info in there, but.....
let me know if you figure something out.

i believe the link was just ot show you hsi friend todds car who also has the jdm hatch. I think it HAD a pic of the hatch and its 1 bolt mounting.

and mine doesnt have the ******.....

just drill 2 new holes in ur plate... it wont look that bad

 

that would be drilling to the reg. stickers......

not sure how good of an idea that would be.....

ill make a bracket this week and i guess make extras to sell if anyone else needs them

i have a cali plate too... are the jdm holes THAT wide?? just drill the holes closer to the top of the plate

yea i came across the same ? so i have the whole rear jdm license plate filler panel on my del sol, and yes the holes are wider, and i also did not want 2 drill any new holes,BUT I GOT A JDM GENUINE HONDA LICENSE PLATE HOLDER, SO THE HOLES LINE UP, I DRILLED THE RIGHT WIDTH HOLES FOR THE USDM PLATE 2 FIT INTO THE HOLDER, SCREW IN THE HOLDER TO THE PANEL THEN GET 2 MORE SCREWS W/ NUTS AND SCREW THE PLATE 2 THE NEWLY MADE HOLES IN THE JDM HOLDER AND UR DONE, CLEAN

i figured it out, i just made a simple bracket with 4 holes, 2 for the jdm holes and 2 for the US holes

welded two 10mm bolts in the US holes sticking out, and bolted the bracket on using the JDM holes... so now my plate has the extended stud look, but it works and i like it....

I will make some more for the other JDM ******, after i find the metal with the bend that i want,
