Default hybrid 4dr

hey everyone, I dont post much, but I am a lover of all hondas. I had bought this 98 prelude (piglude) about a yr ago and it was a very nice car, only to find out that after a year and after trading in our older prelude for it, we were upside down from hell on it. nice car, but DAMN for a honda it depreciates a lot.

I have seen a lot of people trying to sell their preludes and all I got to say is GOOD LUCK.

so we went to our honda dealership last nite and found that 4 dr hybrid! and well, they took our car in for trade, let us re-finance the difference, and WA LA! we got a new car!

now its not that bad, I hit about 100mph on the free way last nite, its no vtec monster, but it is not bad. alot better than the 90 mph top speed of that insight

any questions? its a little pricey, I guess we could have gotten the srt-4 or a used WRX, but it gets about 40-50 mpg, and its a lot of fun, plus we get a 2000 tax break next year!

thanks for letting me blab, reply away!

that tax break will help. i was doing some calculating one nite and the average gas savings is less than 500 bucks for a year. over a civic ex. plus, the batteries go out of warranty and can be expensive to replace. but, your not polluting and thats good. i do like the front bumper better than the civic coupe or sedan.
i just would have gotten a civic lx or ex and saved some money. buuuuut....that tax break will more than pay for itself. they should advertise that more. i bet honda would sell more hybrids.

yeah that tax break was one of the reasons for getting it. so far I'm getting about 36 mpg and thats with my foot in it and a/c on. we're still in the financing process so we will see soon. I should have gotten the 2004 toyota prius. check in to on toyota and look in future cars. very very nice.
