DC Sports exhaust noise in rain
My DC Sports cat-back makes an extremely loud scratching sound when I drive above about 60mph in the rain. It's sooo loud and strange sounding that I immediately slow down and hang out in the right lane.
When it's raining and I'm above 60mph is the ONLY time this happens...otherwise it sounds normal. Both the shop that installed it and the Acura dealer say it (as well as the rest of the exhaust system) looks fine. The install shop suggested that since the exhaust doesn't have a heat shield, it might just be cold rain water hitting it and sizzling...but that would mean everybody with this exhaust would experience this problem.
Has anyone else with a DC Sports cat-back experienced this???? Thanks.
