I seriously would say around 10hp. That's what I've always gone by. Theres no way its 25 thats for sure. It is worht the time and effort you put it to it. I was quite happy with how the car is now. Little quicker, throttle response is better. My gas milage hasn't gone down that much.
These are rough numbers:
1/4mile DPFI = 17.4 - MPFI = 16.2
0-60 DPFI = 9.2 - MPFI = 8.2
Car is 2150-2200 with driver.

wow..these responses are totally different than how i felt after it..imo.
My motor was in pretty good shape, and its a huuuuuuuuuuuuge difference after the mpfi swap. On the b1 the only difference from the a6 is the cam, and u got higher compression on the b1. After the mpfi swap..i have around 100 hp which is close to stock SI, and with the cam, would prolly be more than the SI.

I have not dynoed the same engine with both intake manifolds... But I can give you a brief rundown on something I did do.
My car is a 91 si. The motor was bad when I bought it. I put a d15 in it. It is mpfi, do not argue with me about that. I did the swap, I know what's in the car.
My friends car is a 91 std? It has the 4 speed, and dpfi. Both cars are stock.
His car put down 59whp, and mine made 97whp. There is a significant difference between the 2.

the STD hatch has a restrictor plate inbetween the TB and intake manifold...I've seen it with my own eyes and removed it on a friends STD hatch...the cam is different then the DX and the ECU is different also,. if you put the Si intake, cam and ECU on your car you will be at 110 crank horse and you WILL notice a huge difference, especially if you get an Si or ZC tranny and get rid of the 4spd.

I post numbers and nobody replies to me.

70hp motor is only in the Base model 4speed hatchback. 70hp motor is not 8valve it is 16valve like the DX/Si. It does indeed have a restrictor plate between the TB and manifold. The CRX hf is 8valve. The Base model does have an HF style manifold with cat attached that has slighly bigger ports than an HFs for a low dollar turbo kit by using Gary and Randy's Twin Turbo CRX adapter plate or similar product. You can add an Si header and mate it up to the stock exhaust deleting the cat if you so choose. You will actually get better gas mileage with the MPFI swap over a DPFI swap due to it being a more efficient design.
