Default mpfi swap....won't start

I have a 91 civic dx and i am using a PG7 ecu (88-89 integra), 89 si manifold, 89 si dizzy. I sounds like it's getting no spark. I re-checked all the wiring and tried switching the two wires around and it still wont start. I changed the ignitor and coil from my dx and it's the same thing. Where did I go wrong? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

It sounds like it's not getting spark, or it's not getting spark?

Is there spark? Fuel? Any codes? Last I heard PG7(pre 89 Teg) won't work because of vaccum advanced timing. PM7(89 Teg) will.

That won't work either. Thats OBD1, he'll need a dizzy and the coversion harness for OBD1.

Some people shouldn't give info unless they know 100% for sure.

see if its getting spark. take out aspark plug, put the wire on it. but the plug threads against something metal to ground it, then have soemoen try and start it. if you see the spark plug arcing then you got spark

it's not getting spark for sure...but I just checked the date on the ecu and it says 86. I think i bought a 86-87 ecu instead of an 88-89 ecu. I will try to get a different ecu and see if it starts. If anyone has a 88-89 pg7 auto ecu for sale please let me know.
