PR4 ECU with VAFC

Default PR4 ECU with VAFC

i have a PR4 ecu on a JDM B16 1st gen. I wanted to know if a VAFC is all that is needed to add vtec? My PR3 burnt out, thats why im asking this.

yah it will work. but wont be as good as the pr3. HTH

correct me if i'm wrong, but don't u need a v-tec ecu in order to have v-tec? The PR4 ecu is a non v-tec ecu. therefore u wouldn't have v-tec

the vtec controller will be engaging vtec. Theres more to it than a switch when it comes to vtec, the ecu has two fuel maps and two timing maps. using a non vtec ecu, u miss out on the good stuff,

yes the vafc will make your v tec engage even though you are running a non vec ecu

yeah it will work! but if i were u the pr3 is better, cuz u dont have to adjust shiet , i had a vafc, learning how to adjust it wasnt too much fun, wasted a lot of gas learning, prob. more than the controller itself! fawk, but yeah it will work, or make ur own vtec switch! that looks hella sick, like u got some kind of super speed shiet on ur car, good luck
