hookin up amp for speakers
im just wondering how it all works with hookin an amp up to ur HU to power 4 speakers in your car, none being a subwoofer. i wanna get the most outta my type s speakers and i dont wanna put a sub in there cuz i just dont have the money for it yet. but im wondering if all the wiring goes like this....
HU --- Amp --- Speakers or...
I --- Speakers
HU
I --- Amp
kinda like with option one you have to wire the speakers to the amp, and with option 2 you can jus keep all connections that are already there there and jus plug in an amp and bam you got extra power. hope this doesnt sound confusing, would be much better if i could explain it in person. thanks!

well that doesn't really make any sense, i'll go head and tell you how to do it, the easiest way is gonna be to cut all 4 speakers from your headunit, after you do that you're gonna run 4 sets of speaker wire from the 4 sets speaker wire at the factory wiring, don't use the radio wires, you're just gonna leave them alone, they don't do anything when running an amp for the mids/highs, but IMO that's the easiest way to do it, you can also run speaker wire from the doors but i think that's a bitch
