Default just went to drag strip, depressed need advice

I just went to moroso(south florida) and after waiting for about 4 hours I got to run 2 times. my setup is a 00 Si with a greddy turbo kit, hks BOV NGK plugs(bkr7e) and a tanabe full cat back exhaust.
first run : second run
60' - 2.419 2.637
330 - 6.459 6.711
1/8 - 9.760 10.016
MPH- 75.91 75.73
1000-12.602 12.851
1/4 - 15.018 15.260
MPH- 93.77 93.91

the first run was against a F250 turbo diesel that ran a 15.141 and the second run was against a supercharged miata that ran a 16.314. I still have the stock clutch and I know it slips(tried launching at 4k after the turbo install and the clutch let go completely). but I am kinda depressed about only being able to do a 15. the weather was humid and about 80-85 degrees(or so it felt didn't have a thermometer). I was hoping for a mid 14 atleast, was that too high of an expectation? do you guys think the clutch will make a huge difference, and I would appreciate any other recommendations on what I could do to improve that with out spending a small fortune. oh yeh and I am going to replace the clutch with an exedy race clutch. I tried to take a pic of the slips but the yellow one was unreadable. Thanks for any replies.

its only a ZC engine remember, so won't be putting out tons of power.
The 60 foot times is your biggest concern. A new clutch will help that alot.
Some stiffer rear suspension, both springs and shocks will help. As will an LSD and some good tyres.
mid 14's should be a realistic goal.

No, it's a B16 (99-00si).

Like everyone said your mph is very low, if your clutch is slipping that much you don't need to take it to the track in the 1st place. I wouldn't worry about it, replace the clutch, try again.

yeah i agree, 93 mph with a bad 60' on a turbo is pretty slow. even if your clutch is slipping.

get it tuned and, if you still have a stock cat and exhaust, you need to upgrade.

ive never seen anyone have good results with a stock greddy kit on the 99-00. get a new clutch, an intercooler and some fuel management(hondata). turn the boost up and have some fun

I don't like the idea of a hondata, so the only thing I could really go with would be the greddy emanage or an aem ems, both of which I can't afford. The clutch is slipping soo bad that every gear I shifted into slipped for about a second before it actually grabbed. I am probably going to ditch the cat, and I have a tanabe racing medalion cat back. and vtecdamien, the last time I went their I got 5 runs in less than 2 hours. The most 95% of the people got to run was 4 runs. What do you guys think would be a realistic time to expect with a new clutch and pair of kumho V700's? what about after the intercooler? oh yeh the main reason I went was finally have a chance to race a guy at my work on the track(i don't like racing on the street), he has a wrx. He basically put a chip in it about 2 weeks ago, his best time was 15.026(second run) and his first run was a 15.5. their was a 04 wrx their that ran a 15.26 and it looked like he had a perfect launch. also everyone I asked their said they ran about 2-3 tenths slower than they have before. would the humidity make that much of a difference? thanks again for the helpful replies.

heat and humidity make a difference.

i ran the other night when it was about 45 out and i pulled 14.0's
about a month ago i ran when it was in the high 70's and pulled 14.4's and hit one 14.39

if you get a new clutch and a lightened flywheel, get rid of your cat, get an intercooler and turn up the boost a bit. you should have no problem hitting LOW 14's or high 13's in the same weather conditions.
