with only 400 bux, that could prolly get you a Comptech 4-2-1 ceramic or stainless/mig weld

600 bux would get you a header-tech and it puts out about 12 more hp than the JDM DC 4-1

Comptech doesn't make a ceramic header.

I have a jdm itr and I love it. The benefit is that you can slap on a jdm heatshield and call it stock and its sturdy as a brick. The downside is that there are several other headers out there that are better and the welds are on the inside of the header..dunno what honda was thinking there . And its not as pretty as a toda or smsp.

Correct. You ethier get the MIG welded header or TIG welded. Nothing much between the two except the TIG welds are much nicer. Not worth the extra $$ in my opinion. I'm getting the SS MIG
